Sunny Earrings
My mom changed her name at 14 to Sun Bun Fun One and then as an adult went by Sunny. She also made up her own last name - Bat-Or, which in Hebrew means, daughter of light. My mom was a very sunrise and sunset woman and embodied her chosen name.
These earrings are inspired by the sun, at sunrise and sunset. Each ray of sun is individually sawed by hand, letting light shine through.
Sunrise made of aluminum, and sunset made of brass, each piece is shaped, cut, and sawed by hand, meaning that each one is individually made for you, and no two are exactly the same. The suns are hung on a sterling silver ear wire which is nickel-free and completely hypoallergenic.
