About Dear Elaan:
Elaan began making jewelry in 2007 when she wanted a piece to represent her new mom status but couldn’t find anything she liked. She has art and creativity running through her veins (hi, mom and dad!) so she found an adult ed class at the local community college that taught beginning metalsmithing. Dear Elaan jewelry was born when her son was old enough that having a torch in the house wasn’t too insane and that became Dear Elaan jewelry. Now located in Las Vegas, Elaan is getting to know this new city and is enjoying getting to know all of you who make this city her new home.
Elaan loves making jewelry so much that she wanted to make it possible for everyone else to do as well. In Ithaca, NY she had a metalsmith school for 6 years and now in Las Vegas, she offers an array of make your own jewelry options. (see links to those in the menu)

Elaan’s first jewelry desk/bench was in her kitchen, then the dining room became the jewelry studio, then she moved the studio out of the house, and then moved it again to a larger space which was located behind her school, and now she works in multiple locations.
