Fold forming earrings, Sunday, Feb. 2, 6-8:30PM
Get your hammering muscles ready! In this workshop you will be learning basic fold forming metal, hammering techniques, sawing out a basic shape with the jewelers saw, annealing metal with a torch, filing, and finishing to create your own pair of earrings. The materials used will be copper and sterling silver for the ear wires. To finish your pieces, there will be the option of oxidation with liver of sulfur or heat patina. All materials are included in the price.
No previous experience is necessary but the more you have, the easier it will be!
Class minimum is 3, maximum is 4.

Please wear clothing that can get dirty and/or ripped. Please no tops with loose or flowy sleeves, and no dangly pieces on clothing or jewelry. Must wear closed-toed shoes.
