L'dor V'dor, generation to generation ring
What is in a name? Who do you come from? Who runs through you? Whether by blood or choice? There is a saying in Judaism, “L’dor V’dor”, which means generation to generation. This ties us to those that came before us and those that will come after us. This is a foundational component of culture, ancestry, family, teachings, customs, rituals, and faith. None of us is an island on its own and no one exists in a vacuum. To honor and connect us with our ancestry - in whichever definition or form we choose that to be - the L’dor V’dor ring is the perfect way to carry those you wish to honor with you everyday. Mine has my great grandmother, grandmother, and mother’s names on it.
Each ring is hand stamped and between each name is a small heart. We can do any names/languages that use English letters and/or Hebrew. At checkout, choose which size, metal, if darkened letters, and then fill add the names in the form. Depending on which size ring you order, will also determine how many names can be added so after we receive the order, we may be in touch if any adjustments need to be made.
Each one is hand stamped and handcrafted for you so imperfections will occur due to the nature of handcrafted. Additionally, no refunds or exchanges can be issued since these are custom pieces.
